AFROSURF - The Book. A Kickstarter campaign we've just backed and why you should, too.

It's not often a Kickstarter campaign hits the radar that lights us up and makes us hit the PLEDGE button. We've been following the Mami Wata surf crew for a long time now (check out their rad store and banging campaigns here) and are super excited to see this collaborative project launch - and already exceed the target amount needed from more than 695 peeps.

Documenting and celebrating a thriving African surf & street culture in a 300 page limited edition art book, the timing of this book couldn't be more pertinent. Since the publishing of the book has now been fully funded (don't worry - there's still 18 days to make your pledge), any additional funding/pledges is going directly to support the work of African surf therapy organisations: Waves for Change and Surfers Not Streetchildren. We think this is bl***dy amazing work.
