I’m originally from Uruguay, a small coastal country in South America. The female surf scene there is still pretty new but growing fast, lots of girls are getting into surfing, and there’s this strong sense of encouragement and sisterhood in the water. It’s still pretty grassroots, but that’s what makes it special. Everyone’s just stoked to be out there!

Right now I’m based in the South West of WA, around Dunsborough and Yallingup. My days usually start early with a surf or yoga before getting into work. I work remotely most days. A sunset walk in the afternoon and some whale watching at this time of the year. Life here is simple and quiet in the best way, surf, coffee, work, and sunset beers if the wind drops.

It really was a dream trip. A crew of girlfriends, good waves, scooters, and no rush for anything, just surf, eat, massage, repeat. We surfed mostly around Gerupuk and the east side of Kuta, scoring a few glassy sessions that were pure joy. Hanging with the girls was the highlight though, it felt like a full reset. My favourite sessions were those mellow evening surfs when the water’s golden and everyone’s cheering each other into waves.

I’d take you down the coast, start the day at Yallingup for a surf or a sunrise swim at Meelup, then coffee at the local cafe (there's lots of good ones around here), maybe a swim at Injidup Natural Spa, and lunch at a winery, plenty to choose from too. We’d finish with sunset drinks at Eagle Bay Brewery, coldest beers, guaranteed, and the best view to match.

East Coast of Australia has been home for me for a long time, most of the surf spots over there are a dream! On this side of the country I like surfing Cape Naturaliste when there's big swells coming through and the swell wraps around.
